This Limited Lifetime Warranty is given only to the original purchaser (the "Buyer") of this new garden furniture (the "Product").ﾠ Richey Industries, Inc. warrants that the Product will be free from defects in workmanship and materials under normal use and service as long as the Buyer owns the Product.

WHAT IS NOT COVERED:

Damage caused by or resulting from shipping, product misuse, abuse, neglect, harmful chemicals, improper assembly or maintenance, or accidents.
Normal weathering or wear and tear (Normal weathering is defined as exposure to sunlight and extremes of weather, including atmospheric pollution and acid rain, which may cause any surface to fade or change color, warp, crack, or acquire dirt or stains.)
Damage resulting from the modification of the Product from its original design.
Damage to the finish of the Product.
Damage resulting from the use of the Product for or in connection with a commercial purpose.ﾠ (The Product is intended for personal, family, or household purposes only.)

NOT sturdy, definetely won't hold 500lbs

No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Comments about Red Cedar Mission 5-ft. Swing & Stand Set:

IF it wasn't so bulky and therefore difficult to return I would return it immediately.
I had our handyman install it and it was easy to install BUT:

1) The minute 1 adult (130lbs) sat it cracked one piece. He was able to blue it and put 2 metal supports to give it a lot more stability.

2) The seat itself bends like it cannot even take that much weight.

3) The stand itself is so non robust that when you swing it moves all over (the base lifts). So our handyman will put 4 metal pieces in the legs of the stand to fix it in the floor, otherwise definitely NOT SAFE!

4) IT is quite short. I wish it would be taller and a LOT thicker and ROBUST.

So unless you plan to modify it a lot do not buy this thing. A waste of money and not safe.
