Anytime a rain storm comes and winds gust to maybe 20mph this swing blows over and falls apart into 3 pieces - base, top, and swing. I've tried filling the base poles with gravel but nothing works. After several of these tip-overs and putting it back together the bolted connections are getting bent up and I'm about ready to trash this after only 4 months. This was a Mother's Day gift for my wife and manufacturer and Hayneedle don't care about the poor design.

Unbelievable fast shipping! I pretty much recieved my product in about 3 days. I figured it would take 1-2 weeks simply due to the weight and size but was soo happy when it arrived so quickly. At other websites shipping could be nearly $100 extra for an item of this size.

porch swing has great service and fast shipping. I was a little disapointed with the quality of this swing. My husband added a few more screws for better support.Hope it will last for a while.

We looked for months to find a swing like one we bought from [@]two years ago. We loved it but the metal supports rusted apart. This was the closest we could find. It's attractive and comfortable. The headrests are an improvement over our old one. But the good points stop here. The curvy legs are pretty but very impractical, unless you use the swing in an enclosed room with a flat floor. We live on a lake, and even a gentle breeze will start the flimsy top flapping like crazy. A brisk breeze and the swing will start to lift. Any strong breeze and the entire swing flips over. Ours fell twice in the first three days we owned it. And of course it bends the metal a little bit every time it falls. At least it is put together so flimsy that the pieces tend to come apart instead of bending compleltely. We tried securing it with plastic tent pegs at all four ends. Two of the four held in the next strong breeze. It sounds like we live in Hurricane Alley but we don't. A 10-15 mph wind is all it takes to turn over this swing. If you can use it indoors or in a completely windless area, you'll probably love it. If not, don't waste your time or money; it's too much of a hassle to set it up every other day until it is bent beyond use.

I really like this swing and it is truly comfortable and was easy to put together. The only complaint that I have is that it is sooooo light that where we live it is really really windy and I am afraid of the wind tipping it over with the canopy on. We removed the canopy :( and it seems to be ok. Also would be better if the pieces bolted together instead of just sitting on top of each other.
