The product was used to suspend our porch swing (also purchased from PorchSwings.com). Our porch swing is securely attached and I don't think there is a possibility of it loosening anytime soon. It would be nice if the lag screws were included with the kit. Otherwise, perfect item!

We opted for these because the only other swing hanging kits we could find were only good for up to 300lbs. My wife and I wanted to be able to sit on the swing at the same time so that put us over the 300lbs when you added in the weight of the swing. However, we've notice these are not very smooth if we're both on the swing...almost like there's some friction in there somehow. A bit disappointing given how expensive they are!

Item came on time and with free shipping. But we were an are still concerned that they are mostly made of plastic. Every time we sit on the swing we get a little nervous they might break but they are made of heavy plastic with metal parts.

After a lag screw hook pulled out unexpectedly, dropping the porch swing to the floor (no injuries, thank goodness), I went looking for a better solution. I went to several local home improvement/hardware stores looking for a better solution. Not finding any, I hit the interwebs, and these popped up. I read the reviews and decided I'd give them a try.
Upon receiving them, I purchased the recommended hardware and followed the instructions included. What really sets these aside from the other hangers is two mounting points per hanger and their 600 lb. weight rating. I don't think these will ever have to be replaced, and I'm fairly confident that the swing will break before it ever falls down again.

Pricey but sturdy. I wish it had come with the washers/lag bolts, but perfect for hanging our porch swing. Arrived fast.
