The slatted seat is slightly contoured for comfort and the rounded armrests are 2 to 2.5 inches wide, offering plenty of space for your arms to rest. Vertical slats on the backrest are nicely spaced and topped off by the graceful arch in the center. Heavy-duty brass hardware keeps all the pieces together and weathers beautifully. Your hanging chains and hanging hooks are included so you're ready to start enjoying this beautiful swing as soon as it arrives.
Constructed of Balau wood, it's durable and weather-resistant. Balau is an extremely dense, oil-rich tropical hardwood. From Southeast Asia, Balau's strength and weather-resistance make it perfect for use in outdoor furniture. Balau is very similar to teak but is said to be denser, strong, and more durable. It also has a warmer, deep honey hue. This wood should be cleaned and treated annually to retain the natural wood color. If left to weather on its own, Balau will weather to grey patina.

We have our swing on our front porch. We are very happy with it. It was easy to put together and easy to hang up. Our three boys love to swing on it. We get compliments all the time.
