Each one has a 600-lb. weight capacity and they're super shock absorbers. They give your swing a little extra bounce.

I am very pleased with the quality of this swing. The ease with which it took to assemble was surprising. I had only one difficulty...the chains are rather short. I had to purchase additional hardware to drop it low enough for a shorter person to use the swing. I suggest speaking to a CSR to find out if you can get longer chains.

I love the porch swing itself. It is the second one I have ordered this year. The first one was larger and had superior hardware. The smaller one had hardware that was not as functional or attractive as the first one. I went out and bought replacement connecting hardware for the chain.

I ordered this item and was delivered within a week with one negative. I wasn't sent the assembly instructions, I called the company and talked to Kevin, within 10 minutes of talking to him, I had my instructions sent to me in my e-mail. This swing was very easy to put together. I (women) did it in about twenty minutes. It looks great and feeling like it will be around for years to come. The chains it came with are great, strong chain. I have to get different attachment hooks only because I'm hanging it differently. Overall great buy.
