I've only owned and used the swing for 2 weeks now, but so far so good, no problems. It looks awesome on my patio, its amazing how a simple swing can make my patio look soooo relaxing. It was simple to build, but I do advise you use a professional socket wrench with an allen head. While supplying you with a freebie allen wrench is a nice gesture, it will take you forever to get those long bolts in. I only gave it 4 stars because I haven't owned it long enough to encounter too many problems. It has safely held two grown men (400lbs.) and a baby (+17lbs) without falling to the ground, so I'm happy!

Easy to assemble the bench but it took some effort and extra parts to hang properly. The chains appear thick enough to be able to hold 2000# each or anchor a small freighter. Each chain loop is so thick and the inner opening so small that the chain wouldn't fit over the bench hooks until I pounded them wider with a hammer and screwdriver. Each chain is the same length so when if you assemble as directed the bench hangs like you are in a recliner or taking off in the Space Shuttle. It's not possible to alter the length without a torch so I had to buy two "O" ring and jury rig it. Obviously the designer didn't care to try to hang one themselves. For the price it shouldn't be this hard.

I bought this for my daughter's new home and her family is very pleased with it. She put it together with her 7 year old son and had no problems with assembly. I purchased the comfort springs and am glad that I did.

Picked this swing out BC it looked like a nice swing for the price. I received it within a week and when I opened it one of the wood pieces had a crack in it. I emailed customer service and They were very nice and sent me a postage paid fedex label and picked it up. They also sent me a replacement. The replacement had no cracks, but Just looked terribly painted. There were streaks in the paint and it looked like it got smudges before it dried completely. I didn't want to go thru the hassle of sending it back, so I'm just gonna paint over It myself. Also one of the hook screws was bent. I got what I paid for. Customer service was the best part. Swing not so much.

Really nice solid swing.
Paint finish is good as well.
However, it was really hard to assemble....the allen wrench provided is not sufficient for screws. Also, the instructions on putting it together were ambiguous. In addition, the chains provided to hang the swing were not long enough for our porch so we have to go to the Depot.
Despite these negatives, I am actually quite happy with the overall product.
