I got the longer 5' bench. For the price I was expecting this to be made out of flimsier wood, but it's pretty sturdy. The back flexes a bit when bigger people sit on it but it's very minor, and I think it's supposed to do that. The chain sits at just the right length for me, my feet barely brush the ground, but be prepared to buy chain if you want it closer to the ground or if you have higher ceilings. The bench is tilted at a perfect angle. The seat is removable, I'm guessing for places that get a lot of snow, but it sits in the frame very well and doesn't shift around once it's in. The depth of the seat is a little longer than the average chair and the front edge is a fraction of an inch taller than the seat which makes the squared edge a little uncomfortable if you sit for long. Otherwise it's pretty comfortable, I usually just sit on it cross-legged and I'm fine. I expect a cushion would make a big difference.
I had a few manufacturing defects, a few paint drips and two pilot holes that were only drilled half of what they should have been. The paint problems are minor and only visible when I look for them, so it's not a big deal. However, the pilot holes made it a pain to put together and I stripped the provided hex key trying to screw it together. Thankfully the screws did not strip which proves that they're pretty high quality. Other than that the process of putting it together was very simple, not a lot of steps and clear instructions.
I am very impressed with how well it was packed, everything was encased in styrofoam which is good because the shipping people were carrying it around by the straps and if it weren't packed so well it would have been damaged.
Overall I'm happy with this swing and have used it every day since I got it.

Love the porch swing, but chain length was too short for our porch ceiling. We had to make extra trip to hardware store to purchase extra chain to extend. Otherwise, everything worked great.
