Great American Woodies Classic Red Cedar Swing with Optional Cushion

The Cedar Classic Swing brings together everything we love about porch swings. It is constructed of quality cedar wood, which is well-suited for outdoor use because it is rot-resistant and is a natural insect repellent. A wide design and graceful arching backrest beckon to be enjoyed. The contoured-for-comfort seat never disappoints, and it's made even better with a soft cushion. Covered in polyester or Olefin, this cushion is available in several patterns, and has a polyester fill for softness and durability. Cushions have piped edges for a finished look and ties to keep them from blowing away.

This wood is not pressure-treated. If your swing is exposed to a great deal of humidity, precipitation, and/or sun, as in coastal or mountain regions, we recommend you treat it with a sealant up to twice a year. If your swing will hang in drier conditions with less weather exposure, we recommend treating it anywhere from once a year to once every two years.

Hanging chains are 7 feet in length. Length from the top of the chain to the inverted "V" is 4.5 feet. This chain is a zinc-plated, 10-gauge wire, sometimes referred to as a double loop or twin loop chain.
