Even better than before!
We think all our porch swings are pretty fantastic, but we also know each one could be even better with a little help. That's why we give you the "hardware" option to add on our comfort springs and hanging hooks. You'll love the security you get with these swing hangers. Each one is covered in high-impact ABS plastic to prevent rusting. The metal comfort springs are pretty much the best porch swing accessory ever. Each one has a 600-lb. weight capacity and they're super shock absorbers. They give your swing a little extra bounce.
What we like about the Oak Diamondback Porch Swing:
A combination of classic style and comfortable, contoured seating, this quality swing offers an incredible value. Made from solid oak, this porch swing is designed to provide years of enjoyment. Diamond cut-outs in the slatted backrest give this swing a unique appeal.
Choose the 4- or 5-foot length option. The 4-foot swing provides ample room for two adults, while the 5-foot version provides room for three. This porch swing assembles quickly and easily. Hanging chains are included, so you can experience the timeless pleasure of your new porch swing right away.
make a custom look: Since this swing is unfinished, use your choice of stain, sealer, or paint to achieve the exact look you want for your outdoor setting.
Adding padded cushions will not only make your Oak Diamondback Porch Swing more comfortable, it's also another quick, easy way to bring a splash of color to the surrounding area.

I found this to be a nice porch swing kit made from oak lumber. It requires sanding and finishing. I finished mine with 3 coats of marine spar varnish. I also added some 1-1/4 inch long wood screws in key locations to solidify the frame - rather than relying only on the manufacturer's staples. I've hung mine from a shady tree in the back yard. This is a good product considering the price.

Dunno maybe its me but this swing seems poorly assembled.. For [$] bucks I didnt expect a family heirloom but alittle glue in the joints and maybe a screw or two would of impressed me. This is not a bad swing it just needs to be made better. I pulled apart the joints and added exterior glue and brass screws which should make this last along time. Using a brad nailer to assemble a swing that is rated for this weight, just wont last assembled the way it comes out of the box..Plus side is I couldnt of bought the wood and hardware for less than I paid for the swing. Just be prepared to do alittle work on it if you want it to last and alot of sanding before putting on an exterior finish.

Comments about Beecham Oak Diamondback Porch Swing:
Wood is nice, saw marks on wood were turned under. I'm still in the process of sanding, staining and sealing the pieces, so I can't say anything to comfort or function. I think it will work well for us though.

Comments about Beecham Oak Diamondback Porch Swing:
This swing is stapled together, and the thinner boards are rough and paper thin. What a shame.

Comments about Beecham Oak Diamondback Porch Swing:
Oak is pretty common, and a good strong wood, but no stronger that it's joints. I think this has a 600 lb rating, but I don't see how. This was put together with a brad nailer and nothing more. It's made w/ quality oak, but I think mother nature has more of a roll in that.
The back side of the slats were not planed down very well and the rough cut was still mostly present. Might be OK if your not going to see the back.
Several boards and slats must have got stuck in the planer, as there were divets or grooves cut into some, as if the board was stuck during the planing process.
I would not recommend this to someone not prepared to modify its joints and ready to do some extreme sanding, before staining and finishing this.

Comments about Beecham Oak Diamondback Porch Swing:
Finish was very rough and it had to be sanded. Edges were very sharp. We had to sand all the edges before we stained it.

Comments about Beecham Oak Diamondback Porch Swing:
Good quality, quick shipping, hardware (1/4" bolts, and light weight chain) I think isn't good for a bench that is designed to hold up to 600 Lb's. It took several hours to sand wood down smooth, this would have been nice to have been done at the manufactures. It would have been good to see a photo of the 4' Bench (showing only two Diamond in the back panel), not the 5'.But overall well worth the money.
