The advantages of recycled polymer are hard to ignore. It absorbs no moisture and will not rot, warp, crack, splinter or support bacterial growth. This environmentally friendly form of plastic is also compounded with permanent UV stabilized colors, which eliminates the need for painting, staining, waterproofing, stripping and resurfacing.

Impervious to many substances including salt water, gasoline, paint, stains, and mineral spirits, recycled plastic is also extremely easy to clean and maintain. Simple soap and water is all you’ll need to get rid of dirt and make your swing look new again. For extreme cleaning needs, you can use a 1/3 bleach and water solution.

Reprocessed polymer is non-toxic to humans and animals, and won't leach or bleed arsonic, heavy metals or chemicals into the soil. It can also reduce greenhouse gas emissions by sequestering more than three times the amount of carbon as wood, rendering the carbon inert for decades. It's tougher and more resilient than treated timber.
