POLYWOOD® material is made of HDPE plastic resin that has been purified and UV protected. It is generally cared for and cleaned with soap and warm water.
For certain stains and additional cleaning power, a 1/3 bleach and 2/3 water solution can be used on the product without affecting the color.
Also, a popular method of cleaning is a high-pressure power wash. (Not to exceed 1,500 psi, which is the equivalent of a car wash.) The surface characteristics of the product may require the use of a soft bristle brush to get into the creases.
The hardware used in the assembly and construction of our furniture is an 18-8 commercial-grade stainless steel that has an additional Xylan protective and cosmetic coating. Although the quality of the hardware has a high level of corrosive resistance, the hardware can show some sign of corrosion in salt air environments.
A practical solution to these signs of corrosion would be to wash the product with soap and water. Use a soft bristle brush to scrub the corroding areas of the hardware. Also, use appliance touch-up paint in the appropriate color to protect the hardware. Appliance touch up-paint can be purchased at local hardware stores.

This swing is the best swing ever. It is comfortable, sturdy, assembly was easy and love the idea that you can wash with pressure washer. With pollen season here, it will be easy to keep clean. Best purchase ever.

The swing looks great and works very well hanging on my porch. I just got it installed so I can't speak to the quality but it looks like it will hold up well.
It does not come with bolts or hook screws for hanging it at the top (i.e. ceiling). Not a knock, just an FYI.
I would have given this product a higher review BUT the assembly was a pain. If you can put it together without stripping the screw and bolts then you will have a very nice swing. It took me an hour to assemble a swing that should have taken 15 minutes.

This swing was easy to assemble and appears very durable. I have only had it a month so time will tell. We have been thoroughly enjoying it. My only real complaint is being able to hang it. The chains that are sent are definitely very short. We have it hanging on an average porch with average height ceilings and it was about 10 inches short on each side. Also for all the money that the swing costs, it seems that you should not have to pay so much additional money to have to hang it. So, in addition to the extra chain, I also had to pay for the hangers for the ceiling. It ended up being a fairly expensive endeavor but we are generally satisfied with the swing itself.
