It's a swing, it's a hammock, it's...wonderful. The Lazy Caye Swing Chair and Bed in Cappuccino transforms from a classic canopied swing to a bed you can really relax on. Simply lay the backrest down to a flat position, grab the included toss pillows, and sprawl out to catch some z's. We'd say you could point out shapes in the clouds, but the polyester canopy will pretty well block your view. It's durable and weather-resistant, though, and offers you constant shade. The swing seat is covered in a matching, cushioned cover with white trim for a finished look. As a swing, this seat will comfortably seat three people. With a tubular brown steel frame, this swing looks all but indestructible, but keep the 500 lb. weight capacity in mind. The frame is powder-coated for rust prevention.

When I saw the posts that said the setup was difficult,I have decided to assemble swing when I have ample free time. All parts and hardwares were properly marked. Instruction need little improvement, but it is not too difficult to assemble. There are three assemblies, Main structure assy, swing assy and canopy assy. If you build all assy separately then it is easy. Very comfertable, look very nice on my newly built deck.

Overall, stong contstruction.
Cons - This swing attaches to the frame at only two points - this allows the swing to move forward as well as side-to-side. I was hoping more for a glider feel - this product does not deliver on that.
The arms connecting the swing to the frame need to be adjusted when converting to "bed" position and can get caught up and potentially bent if not fully adjusted.
When assembling, the parts were lumped together in a bag and were not labelled part A, part B, etc. This made assembly more difficult than it needed to be.

This is truly one of the worst products I've ever purchased online. It is of poor quality and you will never figure how to assemble because the istructions are wrong. The parts are mis-labeled and some are missing. I wish I had read some of the other reviews regarding assembly of this product

I read the reviews of how difficult it would be to set up, but I've set several up before so I thought would be fine. Boy was I wrong!! Not all parts were marked and I had to look around the house to find nuts and bolts that would fit because not all were there. One of the most horrible experiences putting something together! Some of the parts were bent which made it more difficult. I should have returned it, but made the best out of it. I would not recommend it to anyone!

I had to hire a professional handyman to put this swing together. He was sweating and complaining and it took him many hours to put this thing together. At the end, we have a swing that only little kids might enjoy. The seat size is narrow and uncomfortable for any adult. I am a small size adult and know that I won't be enjoying my new swing. I wish I could return it but after hours of putting it together, who wanted to take it apart.

It took my wife and me (handyman) whole day to put it together.
Very poor intructions and hardware missing or not enough in the factory packaging. Seat could be adjusted but then you will slide out so you can only use in one position. Need two persons to convert it into a bed

A: The steel frame is black and the fabric is a taupe, light brown with white edging.
Q4: Can you adjust the back seat for different angles?
A: The seat has two positions, upright for sitting and flat like a bed.
Q5: We have one of these swings. We have had it for several years and we are now in need of a replacement cushion for it. How does one go about locating this cushion? Thanks
