The Lakewood Straight Back Glider offers optimum comfort for long summer days or family gatherings on the front porch. Constructed of durable Asian hardwoods, this classically designed glider is available in a wide range of stains and paints to suit your decor. It features a basic design with a slatted back and a gently curved seat, which increase comfort while adding a versatile look to your space.

Choose from a 4- or 5-foot length glider to accommodate multiple people. Both sizes have a weight capacity of 400 pounds. Please note that painted gliders should be used on a covered porch or patio to reduce exposure to the elements and prolong the life of the finish.

About the Hinkle Chair Company
For over 170 years, the Hinkle family has been making quality hardwood furniture in the same location in Springfield, Tennessee. Between the 1950s and 1990s, they focused almost solely on the production of rocking chairs due to high demand for their quality rockers. But in 1996, the company expanded with two new buildings- one to house production facilities, the other to house a state-of-the-art finishing system. These innovations have allowed the Hinkle Chair Company to meet the demands of the rocking chair market and to offer new and exciting furniture pieces among their storied collection.
